Vegan ANZAC Biscuits

ANZAC biscuits were traditionally made by the families of soldiers to send out to them. ANZAC biscuits are a national icon and to celebrate ANZAC Day – the national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand. This day commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. The acronym ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. Observed on the 25 of April every year ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first campaign causing major casualties for the forces during the First World War.

ANZAC Biscuits Airfryer

Traditionally ANZAC biscuits contain no eggs but use butter. This Vegan ANZAC biscuit recipe uses almond butter and Rice Malt Syrup to add sweetness and bind the dough. Using the Airfryer means no preheating or using up another tray. This recipe makes about 10 ANZAC biscuits. The biscuits are perfect with a  warm glass of tea or a cold glass of Mylk.
