Working full time and looking after a young family makes me very thankful for Friday afternoons! In between running off to various after school activities I also need to make sure everyone’s well nourished and not wearing their cranky pants!
Enter Noodle Pakoras, these delicious fritters are made with leftover chowmien noodles, some veggies and a dash of hot chili sauce and baked to save the day (and oil) and keep everyone going until dinner.
I used,
- Leftover Noodles – 2 cups
- Frozen Mixed Vegetables – 1/2 cup
- Boiled Potato, medium – 2
- Ginger – Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
- Soy Sauce – 1 teaspoon
- Hot Chilli Sauce, to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all the ingredients and mix until they come together.
Form into round patties and place on baking paper in a hot oven.
Bake for 20 minutes at 200 Degrees Celsius until well browned.
Update: 26/06/2016 – This is a perfect Air Fryer recipe and taste like they have been deep fried!
Cool before devouring!
